Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital—Needham Campus

Owner’s Project Manager for a $30 million renovation and 37,000 sf addition to the Needham campus hospital, Pinck & Co. provided oversight and coordination for the schematic, design development, permitting, and construction document phases for the addition of two stories to this community hospital, along with upgrades to the Radiology Department, site improvements, 20 additional private inpatient rooms and a new MRI unit.

Pinck & Co. oversaw the engagement of all consultants, coordinated user group meetings with hospital staff, led the permitting process both locally and with the MA Department of Public Health, and conducted a competitive process to engage a construction manager using the CM at Risk approach.

During the 18-month construction schedule we provided construction administration, and field observation. Our scope for this $30 million project also included the procurement and coordination of hospital furniture, fixtures and equipment.

City Year Headquarters

The relocation of the non-profit’s national headquarters involved a $5 million tenant fit-out of a five story, 55,000 sf building in Boston’s Back Bay. Pinck & Co. coordinated the permitting, contractor selection, construction monitoring, close-out, and move planning and management on an exceptionally aggressive schedule.

YWCA Boston

Clerk of the Works for a $52 million renovation of the historic Back Bay 1929 structure. The phased project included complete reprogramming to create a mixed use structure including hotel, affordable housing, offices, a theater and a charter high school.

YMCA Haverhill

Clerk of the Works of a $5 million renovation of fitness areas and the construction of two additional floors to contain SRO housing to serve the community of Haverhill.

Arlington Street Church

Owner’s Project Manager during the installation of new MBTA tunnel, and ADA accessibility to the Green Line subway line which was installed directly adjacent and below grade at the Church. Work included establishing monitoring controls for masonry wall and stained glass windows during construction.

Greater Boston Food Bank—Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope
