Bornstein & Pearl Food Production Center, Dorchester, MA ($6,500,000) OPM for the redevelopment of a 36,000 SF single-story masonry building - formerly a meat processing facility - into a small business center to accommodate multiple food-related businesses. The project included two large shared commissary kitchens (3,000 SF total), dry food and equipment storage, 5,000 SF of cold storage, and specialty loading bays; the space currently accommodates around 40 culinary business and offers offices and support spaces for IT, training, and business guidance programs.
