Pinck & Co. was OPM for the renovation of an existing four story factory site for non-profit developer Worcester Common Ground. The project, which was managed with significant site constraints, involved demolition and removal of portions of the existing building and reconstruction and re-cladding of the exterior to create 46 units of affordable rental housing. The 62,000 sf complex is considered to be one of few remaining Second Empire-style factories in Worcester and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The project was undertaken using certified historic tax credit funds from both the state and federal governments.
