Walden House Apartments
Pinck & Co. was OPM for the historic preservation of this vacant former firehouse acquired from the City of Revere in 2010. This two story brick structure approximately 11,500 gross square feet was built in 1907. The building was redeveloped into seven affordable apartments for seniors, and houses a community room and central elevator. Through adaptive reuse of the century-old structure, the building’s historic facade and details were preserved. The project conformed National Park Service Preservation Part 1 and 2 and MAAB requirements for accessibility.
